PUK member: CG has no right to announce war against KR since Iraq under 7th Chapter

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Ismaeel Shukur, member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, headed by the President, Jalal Talabani, stressed “The Central Government can not announce war against Kurdistani Region since Iraq is still under the 7^th Chapter of the UN Charter.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he expected “Settling the crisis between the Central Government and Kurdistani Regional Government due to Talabani’s efforts conducted with the heads of the political blocs.”

“Talabani’s meetings with the heads of the blocs come to find the best solutions for the crisis to preserve the Iraqi sovereignty,” he added.

“All the political sides realize that the internal conflicts are against the Iraqi and the Governmental interests since some sides attempt to topple the regime in the country,” he concluded.
