Sadrist MP calls to approve 2013 budget as soon as possible

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Ali Muhsen al-Timimi of Ahrar bloc stressed that “The 2013 budget must be approved as soon as possible in order not to be used for political outbidding on account of the citizens.”

Timimi cited “The delay of endorsing 2013 budget will paralyze the performance of the ministries and implementation of projects,” calling the politicians to abandon their political and personal disputes.”

It is worth mentioning that the Iraqi Parliament failed to approve the federal budget of 2013 because of the political disputes among the parliament blocs.
