Sadrist MP elected as head of Justice & Accountability Committee

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The member of the Justice and Accountability Committee, Falah Shanshal, of the Sadr Trend, was elected as the head of the Committee and Omer al-Qadhi, of the Kurdistani Alliance as a deputy head.

A source of the Committee stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Monday “The Justice and Accountability Committee has elected Shanshal as it head and Qadhi as his deputy through out elections held on Monday.”

It is worth mentioning that the former head of the Justice and Accountability Committee, Ali al-Lami, was assassinated on the 27^th of May 2011 by an armed group of eastern Baghdad.
