A statement by Sihail’s office received by IraqiNews.com on Thursday cited “Sihail’s tasks are related to the implementation of the constitution and consolidating the observatory role of the parliament.”
“Previously the Federal Court stated that the legal conditions of Mulla’s request for hosting Adeeb are not fulfilled and we want to assure that this file is with the judicial sides where Adeeb submitted a complaint against Mulla for forging MPs’ signatures to host him in the parliament,” the statement added.
“Sihail will deal with all the issues professionally in order to preserve the interests of the Iraqi people,” the statement concluded.
