MPs to nominate Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki for 3rd term

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Khalid al-Asadi, of the State of Law Coalition assured that “The constitution and the Iraqi law do not prevent the nomination of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, for a third term.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The polls will determine this issue and we hope him to be granted the third term to complete what was achieved in the security and other fields.”

“The reports over the next Prime Minister of Iraq cannot be done before the elections, but personally I support Maliki’s nomination for the third term,” he concluded.
