Taghyeer MP launches fierce attack against KDP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Lateef Mustafa, of Taghyeer bloc within the Kurdistani Alliance launched fierce attack against the Kurdistani Democratic Party, headed by the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, accusing it of adopting double-dealing concerning the crises in the country.

Barzani is scheduled to meet the opposition leaders in Kurdistan Region on Thursday.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), Mustafa assured “The opposition blocs in Kurdistan Region prepared a law draft No. 1 in 2005 to amend the Presidency system in Kurdistan Region into parliamentary.”

“The draft was signed by MPs of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and presented to the Federal Parliament to be endorsed,” he added.

“MPs of the KDP opposed this law draft and launched attack against it through the media outlets,” he mentioned.

“We are going on to endorse this law sooner or later,” he stressed, noting that “Barzani is supporting the demonstrations in western part of Iraq but he eliminated the demonstrations in Sulaimaniya province in 2011.”
