Tayfour consoles death of MP Issawi

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Second Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Aarif Tayfour, denounced the assassination of the MP Aifan al-Issawi.

A statement by Tayfour’s media office reported his strong condemnation for this outrageous crime where he expressed “His concern over the continuity of targeting the national figures scenario by the extremist groups, calling on the security forces to track down the remnants of the Baath Party and al-Qaeda and destroy their strongholds.”

It is worth mentioning that MP Issawi was assassinated on Tuesday by a suicide bombing in eastern Ramadi, capital of Anbar province.
