Turkey requests Baghdad to reveal reasons behind targeting its diplomatic mission in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Turkey requested the Iraqi authorities to reveal the reasons behind targeting its diplomatic mission in Iraq.

A statement by the Turkish Foreign Ministry received by IraqiNews.com cited “We call to secure the Turkish diplomatic mission in Iraq,” noting that “The Turkish mission and the employees were attacked four times in the last two years.”

“The Turkish embassy in Baghdad and the Turkish Consulate were attacked several times which raises concerns over the inability of the Iraqi authority to arrest the doers of the attacks,” the statement concluded.
