Turkey’s position in ISIS war questioned due to statements by political leaders says Iraqi FM

Al-Kuwait, Kuwait (IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ibrahim al-Jaafari said, that Iraq never accused Turkey’s government of supporting terrorism.

Al-Jaafari stated in a joint press conference with his Kuwaiti counterpart Khaled al-Hamad al-Sabah, “We never accused Turkey’s government of supporting terrorism, but a few statements made by Turkish political leaders caused wonder around the international media regarding Turkey’s position in the war on ISIS.”

“During my visit to Ankara, I sought to strengthen the relationship between Iraq and its neighbor.” he added.
