URGENT: Parliament to vote today on al-Maliki, Najafi and Allawi as Vice-President

(IraqiNews.com)  On Monday Iraqi state television announced that the parliament will vote this evening on Nouri al-Maliki, Osama al-Najaifi and Iyad Allawi as Vice-President of the Republic.

Iraqiya TV channel said, in Newsflash aired this evening, and followed by IraqiNews.com, that “The Parliament will vote on the government formation of the three deputies to the President of the Republic in the session of today evening .The first Nuri al-Maliki and the second Osama Najafi and the third Iyad Allawi.”

Iraqi Council of Representatives will hold, at eight o’clock in the evening, a special session to vote on the government of Abadi.
