VP Khuzaiye, UN’s Representative to Iraq discuss regional crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Vice-President, Khudhir al-Khuzaiye, discussed with the Special Representative of the UN’s Secretary General, George Buston, the national reconciliation and the regional crisis.”

A statement by Khuzaiye’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Khuzaiye appreciated the efforts of the former UN’s Representative to Iraq, Martin Kobler, in sustaining stability and safety in Iraq.”

“Khuzaiye assured the continuity of his efforts to activate the national recondition and the means of activating it,” the statement added.

“For his part, Buston appreciated Khuzaiye’s efforts in making the various view closer to sustain stability, appreciating the stance of the Iraqi government in hosting the Syrian refugees,” he concluded.
