(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – Anbar Provincial Council announced on Wednesday, that Anbar loses 300 billion dinars annually as a result of closing the border ports due to the terrorist attacks witnessed by the province recently and the inability to secure roads.

The member of Anbar Provincial Council Jassim Mohammed Asal said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “Anbar Province is losing 300 billion dinars annually as a result of closing the borders ports, especially Trebil port (between Iraq and Jordan).”

“The border ports are closed because of the inability to secure the road linking between the cities of Anbar and the port due to the continues terrorist attacks conducted by ISIS,”Asal added.
