Babel lacks famous consulting firms, says official

Babel (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Investment Committee of Babel Provincial Council, Mahdi Aqoul, stressed that the province needs specialized consulting firms to assume the design process for projects according to the quantities and the engineering tables that are globally applicable.

Aqoul told IraqiNews.com that “The Iraqi companies especially those operating inside the province lack the expertise required to run the projects file,” noting “a lot of projects were floundered due to the slowdown of those companies in addition to the lack of proper planning and credibility in giving specific time limits for the implementation of the projects.”
