CBI Monday auction sales hit $87 million

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The sales of the Central Bank of Iraq rose to over $87 million in Monday foreign currency auction, after they were up to $71,650,000 yesterday.

The size of the sold dollars reached $87,650,000 at exchange rate of IQD1166 against each dollar and with participation of 23 banks, said CBI.

The amount sold in cash amounted to $5,150,000 while the dollars that were sold as remittances were up to $82 million, the statement added. /End/
