 Kurdistan region receives $200 million from Turkey as immediate aid

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the oil industry revealed on Friday, that Kurdistan region received 200 million dollars from Turkey to enhance its financial situation that was affected by the suspension of Ceyhan oil pipeline.

The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “This week, 200 million dollars were transferred from Turkey to the government of Kurdistan region as an immediate aid,” adding that, “The oil pipeline was pumping 600 thousand barrels daily, and the suspension [of it] deprived Kurdistan region from an important revenues source.”
