Baghdad ( The Economic Parliamentary Committee criticized the Government’s resolution to close the border inlets with neighboring countries.The Secretary of The Parliamentary Committee, Mahamma Khalil, stated to ”The resolution is hasty and was not studied which will have negative impact on the prices of various goods,” noting that ”If the government attributes this resolution to security reasons, it would be better to provide protection to these inlets rather than closing them.””This resolution caused surprising increase in goods prices, particularly, after closing inlets with Jordan which were the only inlet for importing the commercial goods needed in Iraq,” he added.He pointed out that ”The resolution is not constitutional and it will cause economic damage,” stressing that ”The committee will demand the government to reconsider this resolution.” \
