Abduction gang sentenced to death

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Criminal Court of Baghdad/Rusafa issued execution sentences against three criminals involved in abduction for favor of ransom.

A statement by the Supreme Judicial Council cited “The criminals kidnapped the victim in Bunoug neighborhood of eastern Baghdad in return of ransom of $ 35, 000.”

“The gang did not release the kidnapped person but after receiving the ransom where the dead body of the victim was found dumped inside deserted house,” the statement concluded.
