Baghdad Mayorship to expand Sewerage Treatment project in Buatha district

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad Mayorship concluded a contract with a Japanese company to expand “The sewerage treatment project in Buatha distinct in Karkh side of Baghdad.”

A statement by BM cited “Baghdad Sewerage Directorate signed a contract with the Japanese (Nippon Koi) Company to expand the project of Buatha sewerage treatment and add a new design with a capacity of 350,000 cubic meters per day within the Japanese financial grant.”

“This expansion of the project aims to preserve the environment of the capital Baghdad from pollution and the protection of rivers and water resources and benefit from the waters treated for agricultural purposes,” the statement assured.
