(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Wednesday, President of the Kurdistan Region Masoud Barzani has congratulated the Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi on the liberation of the city of Ramadi, while the both agreed that the Turkish troops should leave Iraq immediately.

Abadi’s office said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi has received a phone call from the President of the Kurdistan Region Masoud Barzani congratulating him on the victories achieved by the Iraqi army in the city of Ramadi,” adding that, “Barzani considered the victory in Ramadi as the gateway to liberate Mosul and all the Iraqi cities from ISIS.”

The statement added, “During the phone conversation Abadi said, that ISIS has collapsed in front of the Iraqi army, while the advance of the forces is hampered by the booby-traps used by ISIS.
