German MoD arrives in Erbil for talks with Kurdish officials

Kurdistan (IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, German Minister of Defense Ursula von Derlaan arrived in Erbil for talks with the Kurdish officials.

The IraqiNews.com reporter said, “German Minister of Defense Ursula von Derlaan arrived this evening in Erbil for talks with the Kurdish officials on how to confront the ISIS organization.”

The Minister of Peshmerga in Kurdistan, Mustafa Sayid Qadir received the German minister, adding that she is scheduled to meet with the President of the Kurdistan region Massoud Barzani.

The German MoD met earlier on Sunday the president Fuad Masum, confirming her country’s interest in providing military aid to the Iraqi armed forces to defeat ISIS.
