Iraqi F-16 trainee pilots in USA say they are ready to fight ISIS

(IraqiNews.com) Iraqi pilots training on F-16 fighter jets in the United States emphasized to Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi their willingness to participate in the war against ISIS, while al-Abadi said that the Iraqis are waiting for them to bring the enemy down.
Prime Minister’s media office said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “Prime Minister and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces Haider al-Abadi received at his residence in Washington a group of Iraqi pilots trained on the F-16 fighter jets,” noting that, “They gave a brief explanation about their training and showed great willingness to participate in the war against ISIS.”
According to the statement, al-Abadi said, “F-16 fighter jets have precision and an ability to direct strikes to the enemy and protect citizens,” adding that, “We pin our hopes on you and the Iraqis are waiting for you to end your training and destroy the enemy’s strongholds.”
