(IraqiNews.com) Karbala – Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi stated on Monday that ISIS has no supporters in Iraq’s Sunni areas, and warned from sectarian strife, while pointed out that every call to split the country on a sectarian basis will lead to turmoil.

In his speech during the meeting of the Supreme Coordinating Body of the non-organized provinces in the city of Karbala, al-Abadi said that, “the defiance of the Iraqi people against terrorism shows national unity,” noting that “the Iraqi blood cannot be separated and we warn from that.”

Abadi added that ,”there are no supporters for ISIS in the Sunni areas,” warning of “sectarian sedition,” and asserting that, “there is no sacred blood and non sacred blood.”

He also confirmed that, “every call to split the country on a sectarian basis will lead to murder and exodus,” stressing that, “ISIS wants to cancel the other by murder and slaughter.”
