Jordan sends military plane with humanitarian aid to Iraq

16114858-largeAmman, Jordon (IraqiNews.com) On Monday, Jordan’s government announced that the Jordanian Army sent a military aircraft containing a large cargo of humanitarian aid to Iraq.

Jordanian PETRA News Agency reported that, “By order of the King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Army, a military aircraft containing a large cargo of humanitarian aid was sent to Iraq. The aircraft carried food cans, tents and blankets for the people of Iraq.”

The military airplane landed in an airport in Ain al-Asad base, located in al-Anbar province, according to PETRA.
