Kurdistan Regional Government announces next Tuesday as "Holiday"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Kurdistan Regional Government announced next Tuesday as a vacation in the Region to celebrate the Day of Ashura.

Spokesperson of Kurdistan RegionG, Savin Dazae, said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Tuesday 11,4,2014 which coincides with the tenth of Muharram (Ashura holy day” is considered an official vacation for all governmental departments and establishments.”

Muslims in Iraq and rest of the world celebrate every year on the tenth of Muharram the anniversary of Imam Hussein Martyrdom. /End/
