MP Alya Nassif files lawsuit against Iraqi DM

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – MP Alya Nassif announced on Sunday, that she has filed a lawsuit against the Minister of Defense Khalid al-Obeidi on charges of “defamation and slander.”
Nassif said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “I have filed a lawsuit against the Minister of Defense Khalid al-Obeidi on charges of defamation and slander,” pointing out that, “The Iraqi judiciary will have the final say in such abuses and defamation.”
Nassif added that, “The lawsuit will take the legal course in the coming days.”
