New dam to be constructed in Maysan Iraq

Maysan (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Water Resources Ministry announced constructing Diwairij Dam in Maysan province.

A statement by the Ministry received by IraqiNews.com cited “The Dam lies southeastern Ammara city where it in length of 510 M, height 9.5 M and the storage capacity is 1, 78 Million M3.”

“The cost of the project is 11,370 Billion IQD,” the statement concluded.
