Parliamentary delegation heads to Lebanon to participate in funeral ceremony of Jihad Mughniyah and companions
(IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, an MP for the Coalition of State Law, Zaineb Arif al-Basri revealed that a parliamentary delegation had headed to Lebanon to participate in the funeral ceremony of Jihad Mughniyah and his comrades who were killed in an Israeli raid in the Syrian Golan.
She added that “The delegation will participate in the funeral ceremony of the martyr Jihad Imad Mughniyeh and his comrades who were killed in an Israeli air strike.”
The leader of the Lebanese Hezbollah Jihad, the son of the military commander in the party Imad Mughniyah, and a number of members in the party were killed on Sunday (January 18, 2015) in an Israeli raid in the Syrian Golan Heights.
