Saadi, UNDP discuss trainings for Iraqi personnel at MoWR

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Minister of Water Resources, Mohaned al-Saadi discussed with the director of the UN Development Programme, Peter Bachelor and international experts, the implementation of the building of capacities project in the water resources fields besides discussing a number of important relevant topics.

A statement by the Ministry reported “Saadi met with Bachelor where he praised the good efforts exerted by the UNDP in field of developing the water resources sector in Iraq,” confirming “This sector needs much training for the technical cadres in different specializations.”

For his part, the director of the UNDP expressed “Willingness to achieve more cooperation with the Iraqi Ministry of Water resources.”
