(IraqiNews.com) Shiite cleric Mahmoud al-Hassani Sarkhi warned of what he called “the cunning of the former Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, describing him as a cunning fox and a scorpion”, adding that “Maliki has many claws in the army as well as the police who participated with him in his crimes. Also, he is planning to return to the seat of power at any moment.”

Sarkhi predicted, in an audio message addressed to his supporters on Tuesday, the fall of Iran soon, faster than Mosul in case it was attacked. He said: “The next ISIS attack will be on Iran. It’s regime will end and collapse faster than the collapse of Mosul in front ISIS.”

Sarkhi, who fled to an unknown destination after he and many of his supporters were attacked by former government forces, criticized the work of militias and politicians who support Iranian involvement in Iraq, pointing out that what these militias do in Iraq is equivalent to what ISIS does for its backers.
