Mosul (IraqiNews.com) On Monday, According to a local source in Nineveh province, the American planes dropped leaflets calling for the people of Mosul to stay away from the headquarters and gatherings of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in preparation for the its bombardment.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com that “The American planes dropped leaflets this evening on the city of Mosul, asking the residents to evacuate their homes, which are close to the headquarters of ISIS, and to stay away from the gatherings of its elements.”

The source, who requested to remain anonymous, said that “the leaflets bear the signature of the Iraqi Defense Ministry, which is a prelude to the bombing of the headquarters and the gatherings of ISIS, and represents a warning to civilians to avoid casualties among them.”
