(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – A security source in Kirkuk province announced on Tuesday, that 11 members of the ISIS had been either killed or wounded, including senior leaders, during an aerial bombardment by the international coalition south of Kirkuk, (250 km north of Baghdad).

The source said in an interview to IraqiNews.com: “the coalition aircraft targeted this morning ISIS sites in the villages of Al-Dakmat and Wadi Abu Khanajir in the area of al-Safra Airport in Rashad area (65 km) south of Kirkuk, killing four elements of the organization and injuring seven others. ”

The source, who asked anonymity, added: “There were among the dead and the wounded senior leaders in the organization.”

Noteworthy, Deputy Commander of the Anti-Terrorism Operations in Anbar province, Brigadier General Abdul Amir al-Khazraji, announced on Sunday (October 18, 2015) the liberation of Albu Risha area north of Ramadi.
