12 ISIS militants, 4 volunteer fighters killed in clashes south of Fallujah

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – A source in Anbar Operations Command announced on Sunday, that 12 ISIS militants and four members of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi have been killed, while ten soldiers were injured in violent clashes south of Fallujah.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com: “violent clashes broke out between the joint security forces and ISIS militants in al-Heitaoyen area south of Fallujah, resulted in the killing of four elements of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi and injuring ten soldiers from the First Rapid Intervention Division in the Iraqi army.”
The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added: “The clashes led to the killing of 12 militants and the destruction of an excavator and a vehicle carrying mono guns.”
