12 ISIS militants killed in dispute over punishing smokers in Kirkuk

JUI

(IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, 12 ISIS members were killed in a dispute over the punishment of a number of smokers in Hawija district in Kirkuk province, according to Arab media sources.

‘Middle East News’ quoted witnesses as saying that the ISIS organization had arrested some smokers and carried out the punishment of flogging on some of them. The others, who were previously warned, their fingers were cut off.

“Some ISIS elements did not approve the punishment of cutting fingers and considered it illegal, which led to a fight that left 12 of them dead,” the witnesses added.
