14 ISIS elements killed in cleansing battles of the government complex in Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Saturday, a source in Anbar Operations Command announced, that 14 elements of ISIS organization were killed in the cleansing battles of the government complex in the center of Ramadi (110 km west of Baghdad), in addition to the destruction of a number of vehicles equipped with weapons for the organization, while indicated to the participation of the international coalition aviation in the operation.
The source said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The security forces have carried out, at noon today, an operation against the elements of ISIS organization in the government complex area in the center of Ramadi, killing 14 elements of the organization and destructing a number of vehicles equipped with medium and heavy weapons, in addition to destroying a rocket launcher.”
The source added, “The Iraqi flag will be raised on the government complex building in the coming few hours,” pointing out that, “ISIS elements have escaped to Khalidiya Island and their defense lines in the government complex area were collapsed.”
“The international coalition aviation had a significant and unique role in the elimination of the organization’s elements, in addition to the destruction of their hideouts in the government complex area in the center of Ramadi,” he continued.
