15 ISIS militants killed, 300 explosive devices dismantled in Salahuddin

(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – the Iraqi Defense Ministry announced on Monday that a force of the Rapid Reaction Brigade has managed to kill 3 ISIS militants, as well as injuring others in combat operations in Baiji.
Iraqi Defense Ministry said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, ” Third Regiment of emergency and the police have carried out operations in al-Hajaj and al-Botaama villages; they managed to kill eight ISIS militants ,as well as dismantling more than 300 explosive devices and 10 booby-trapped houses.”
The ministry’s statement added that Salahuddin Emergency Regiment was able to kill an element belonging to ISIS, in addition to dismantling 7 explosive devices in Al-Diom neighborhood, indicating that security forces managed to thwart a suicide attack in Tel Abu Jarad area and killed three suicide bombers.
