19 casualties in clashes with ISIS in southern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday a source within the police force stated that an Iraqi army soldier was killed and 18 members of armed volunteer forces were injured.

The source informed IraqiNews.com that “This evening, clashes occurred between ISIS militants and Iraqi forces accompanied by armed volunteers in al-Latifiya in southern Baghdad.”

A security force ran into the area and carried the injured soldiers to a near hospital for medical treatment while the dead body was send to the Forensic Medicine Authority.
