(IraqiNews.com) The New York Times revealed on Sunday that 200 “extremist fighters” from Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon are ready to join ISIS.

“At least 200 of the extremists in Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and other countries have pledged allegiance to the terrorist organization ISIS,” the newspaper wrote, indicating that, “It is necessary to discuss any expansion in the campaign against ISIS or other terrorist groups accurately and publicly by Washington and its coalition partners.”

The newspaper added that, “With the expansion of ISIS outside Syria and Iraq, many of the 60 countries, which are members of the international coalition against the terrorist organization, putting pressure on the US administration to take the fight to target the terrorist groups that have sworn allegiance to ISIS.”

The newspaper pointed out that, “While the United States plays a leading role, the main responsibility in the face of extremist groups and put an end to sectarian wars lies on the countries in the region, including Saudi Arabia and Iran; they should step aside the enmities and work together and even fighting side by side against terrorists.”
