(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – The joint security forces on Sunday announced about finishing military operations, which were launched to liberate Fallujah, after gaining control over ISIS at al-Joulan- its final frontier. The forces further arrested 2000 suspects, who disguised themselves as the refugees of the city. The arrested were trying to sneak into the city.

The security forces also found about ten (10) booby-trap laboratories containing local and foreign materials that were used to manufacture explosive devices and rockets.

At noon on Sunday, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi arrived at center of Fallujah to check on the military operations, while the commander of operations Lieutenant General Abdel Wahab al-Saedi announced finishing the military operations in the city completely.

Saedi, in a press statement, said, “The military operations finished after the complete liberation of al-Joulan in northern Fallujah,” adding, “1800 terrorists were killed during the operations.”

Meanwhile, media officials with the Ministry of Defense announced, that Baghdad Operations Command troops gained control over the residential buildings bridge, while liberated the entertainment city and Fallujah market.
