2000 tribal fighters arrive in Ain A-Asad to support Army forces in liberating Heet, Al-Anbar

Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) On Monday, the leader of the volunteers’ brigades in Al-Baghdadi announced that 2000 fighter from the tribal forces arrived in Ain Al-Asad base to support the security forces in liberating Heet district.

Colonel Shaaban Al-Abidi informed IraqiNews, “2000 fighters from the tribal volunteer forces arrived today in Ain Al-Asad, 90 km west of Ramadi. The fighters carried security aids, heavy weapons and gear to support the security forces in fight with the ISIS militants in Heet district.”

“The security forces had already informed the people in Heet that an extensive military operation is to begin from three different locations,” he added. The district of Heet is being blockaded by Army forces accompanied by volunteers from Al-Dalim, Al-Abid, Albu-Nimir and Al-kheghayfa clans.
