3 people killed, 7 wounded in bomb blast north of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Interior Ministry announced on Tuesday, that ten people have been either killed or wounded in the explosion of an explosive device north of Baghdad.
The source said in an interview to IraqiNews.com, “A bomb exploded before noon, today, near shops in Hamamiyat area in Taji destrict north of Baghdad, killing three people and wounding seven others.”
The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added: “Ambulances rushed to the area and transported the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the dead bodies to the forensic medicine department, while the security forces cordoned off the area of the incident and prevented approaching it.”
