4 explosions kill, wound 12 volunteer soldiers in central Tikrit

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that nine elements of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia have been killed and 3 others were injured in a number of explosions in central Tikrit.
The source informed IraqiNews, “Four bombs that were emplaced near Tikrit General Hospital have exploded at a late hour last night, killing 9 elements of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi and injuring 3 others in the area.”
“A security force blockaded the area of the explosion and transferred the injured to a near hospital and the dead to the Forensic Medicine Authority,” the source added.
