4 policemen killed, 1 injured in militant attack eastern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, a source within the police force in Baghdad said, that four elements of the police force have been killed and one was injured in a attack in eastern Baghdad.
The source informed Iraqi News, “This morning, unknown militants have opened their fire on a security post in the area of al-Amin, located in eastern Baghdad,” pointing out that, “The attack resulted in killing 4 police elements and wounding 1 officer.”
“A security force shortly blockaded the area and transferred the dead to the Forensic Medicine Authority and the injured to a near hospital to receive medical treatment,” the source added.
