60 ISIS elements killed, 5 foreign militants captured in battle for Baiji, says official

(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – The commander of the Rapid Intervention Forces announced, on Monday, the killing of 60 ISIS fighters in addition to capturing five foreign elements of the militant group during the operation to liberate the district of Baiji.
Brigadier General Naser al-Qartousi, the commander of the Rapid Intervention Forces, stated in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The security forces backed by al-Hashed al-Sha’bi forces managed, today, during the operation to liberate the district of Baiji, to kill 60 militants from ISIS,” adding that, “Five foreign ISIS elements have been also captured in the operation.”
