7 people killed, wounded in the explosion of explosive device east of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Interior Ministry announced on Monday, that seven people had been either killed or wounded in the explosion of an explosive device east of Baghdad.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “A bomb exploded at noon today near a popular restaurant in Sadr City in eastern Baghdad, killing one person and wounding six others.”
The source, who asked anonymity, added: “Ambulances rushed to the area and transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the body of the dead man to the forensic medicine department.”
