Tribal fighters kill 8 ISIS elements in central Fallujah

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – The leadership of al-Hashed al-shaabi in Anbar Province announced on Friday the killing of eight fighters belonging to the so-called ISIS in an attack launched by the tribal fighters on ISIS gathering in central Fallujah (62 km west of Baghdad.
The commander of the 1st regiment in Karmat Fallujah brigade of al-Hashed al-shaabi Colonel Mahmoud Mardi Jumaili said in a brief statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The intelligence information revealed that an armed attack was carried out by the tribal fighters in the city of Fallujah on a gathering of ISIS in the industrial area in Golan neighbourhood in central Fallujah, killing eight members of ISIS.”
Jumaili added, “The tribal fighters launched a number of armed attacks against ISIS over the past few days,” noting that, “ISIS prevented its elements from roaming in the residential neighborhoods.”
