8 people killed and wounded in bomb blast south of Baghdad
(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source at the Interior Ministry announced on Sunday, that eight people have been either killed or wounded in a bomb blast south of Baghdad.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “A bomb exploded at noon today near shops in al-Wahda neighborhood south of the capital Baghdad, resulting in the death of one person and wounding seven others.”
The source, who asked anonymity, added: “Ambulances rushed to the scene and transported the wounded to a nearby hospital to receive treatment and the body of the dead man to the forensic medicine department,” without giving further details.
