8 people killed, wounded in bomb south west of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi Interior Ministry announced on Thursday, that eight people had been either killed or wounded in a bomb south west of Baghdad.
The source reported for IraqiNews.com, “A bomb exploded, this evening, close to a popular restaurant in al-Jihad neighborhood southwest of Baghdad, killing one person and injuring seven others.”
The source, who asked anonymity, added: “A security force rushed to the scene and transported the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the body of the dead man to the forensic medicine department, while a raid operation was carried out to search for the perpetrators of the bombing.”
