9 people wounded in bomb blast north of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) A source in the Iraqi Interior Ministry announced on Sunday, that nine people were wounded in the explosion of an explosive device near shops north of Baghdad.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “a bomb exploded at noon today near the shops in al-Kraat area north of Baghdad, resulting in the injury of nine people.”
The source, who asked anonymity, added: “security forces rushed to the scene and transported the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment, while a raid and search operation was carried out to search for the perpetrators of the bombing.”
