Anbar announces the arrival of 80 US advisers to Habbaniyah base

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – The Anbar provincial council member Aid Ammash announced on Saturday the arrival of 80 US advisers in Habbaniyah base, indicating that this is the first patch, while confirmed that they will train the security forces and tribes , in addition to providing logistical support and military advise during the battles in Ramadi and Fallujah.
Ammash said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “80 US advisers have arrived this morning in Habbaniyah base (30 km east of Ramadi)”.
“These advisers will train the security forces and volunteer forces (al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia), as well as providing logistical support and military plans for the security forces in the battles of the liberation of Ramadi and Fallujah,” Ammash added.
