Blast kills six civilians while fleeing from ISIS-controlled areas
(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – A security source informed that six civilians were killed and 19 others were injured in a bomb blast to the south of Kirkuk while they were trying to flee from the areas controlled by ISIS.
Colonel Mohamed al-Obeidi, sharing details about the incident in a press statement, said, “In a bomb blast today, which was mainly targeted on the families fleeing the ISIS-controlled Hawija city, six persons were killed and 19 others were severely injured.”
“These blasts, which are being targeted on the fleeing families, have been continuing from a past few weeks,” Obeidi added.
